Moths in Burry Port

 A trap of fewer than 100 individuals nonetheless contained 49 different species, including a number of firsts for the year such as Marbled Green, Small Dusty Wave, Dark-barred Twinspot Carpet, Wormwood Pug and Bloodvein. I was particularly pleased to find two Black Arches and a Rosy Footman in the trap.

I also had my first Eyed Hawkmoth for a few years.

Unfortunately a new Argyresthia species gasped its last before I could photograph it.
