16th June Bancyffordd

 Just shy of 70 species overnight. A couple of micros that were well marked and well behaved - 


Eudonia delunella


Matilella fusca - think this is a first for the garden.

  1. Another excellent moth photographer here in Carmarthenshire! You are doing well to get c 70 species as at my current home site I`m lucky to get c 25! It made me think of my previous trapping site at Pwll where I`d get 60+ spp at certain times of the year...it all depends on the local habitat catchment (and lack of ubiquitous street lighting). Keep up the good work, Andy and great to have you back trapping.
