Sorry, I haven't a clue
I have been using a actinic light trap for a while but decided to dig out my ancient mv bulb and choke unit and build a proper moth trap. Tried it last night, it did pretty well despite being quite a cold night. I think I have almost identified everything, except this little chap. Leading edge wing length is close to 11mm making the wingspan about 24mm. Looks like it should be quite easy but I can find nothing that matches it. Help with identification would be appreciated.

ReplyDeleteThanks. All the images of this I have seen had two really clear dots on each wing. I guess this is a bit battered.
