I have been away for a few days enjoying, amongst other things, the moths of Norfolk, including White Point, Dark Spinach and Bird's Wing. However I was keen to see what the last of the warmer nights would bring and put the trap out. This morning I found an unusual tortrix and after consulting books, internet and Obsidentify was certain that it was Crocidosema plebejana, a relative newcomer to southern Britain and described as local.
I also found White-spotted Pug which is less than common in the garden - and this one stayed still for ten seconds! Also in the trap were 7 Rusty Dot Pearl, 2 Rush Veneer and 2 Silver Y.
Well done, Adam!
