Pontyberem 17Jul25
Very mild, 17.5 dgrees at 05.30, breezy and damp.
Not a big list but this Kent Black Arches was new for the garden, and the first I have seen in Wales.
Luckily I took this 'in situ' on the egg tray as it disappeared seconds later!
This moth is `on the up` in Carms, with one at my garden trap recently (a new moth for me) and another very recent record at WWT Penclacwydd (Mike Evans). It was first recorded at MoD Pendine in 2008 and with other recent records coming from Pembrey Burrows and Burry Port.
