Maenol on Saturday Evening 12-13 July

A reasonably productive trapping session with the trap on my vegetable garden, a location that I haven't explored before.  Mostly the usual seasonal moths but two species that are new to me:

Marsh Oblique-barred
Catoptria falsella

It was also nice to see Oak Hook-tip, Bordered Beauty and the first Drinker Moths - it's not that long ago that I was seeing the larvae looking for somewhere to pupate.

Correction: I have had Marsh Oblique-barred before - in July 2017.  Sorry!

  1. I`ve never seen falsella Chris - well done! I remember Mel having one some years back at Llansteffan.
