Arfon Williams continues to catch classy moths at his north Carmarthenshire garden traps. Last night (29/10) he had a crimson speckled (new to Carmarthenshire and no i/d problems there!) a moth that many of us are longing to see. It was accompanied by a white-point (3rd vcr) and other moths. Yet again, results at my (almost) coastal Llanelli trap was dire for last night! Sam tells me that his trap results at Brechfa were poor too - it just shows how the catch can vary from locality to locality on different dates.

Full marks to Arfon once again - I`m sure all of us are envious. Am I jealous?...of course not!
