I was out walking today and came across the silken tents of the Lackey moth. I found three, but there must have been more, I didn't explore further than the footpath. They were very obvious and wonder how many will survive being predated upon, or do birds not eat furry colourful caterpillars.
I have started trapping but not had much, a couple of times I have had nothing,😞. Early days yet for my small garden.
I have only seen a Peacock, Speckled Wood and a Green-veined White butterfly!
