True Lovers Knot
I had never seen one of these before.
A really lovely little noctuid. The night's catch also brought me the first Campion, Dingy Footman, Willow Ermine, P. conwagana and Agriphila straminella of the year.
True lover`s knots have also been regular in my traps this last week, making me wonder whether they are wanderers from heaths on Gower or similar Coalfield habitat in SE Carms. The wind direction may hint at the latter source.
