I sorted through a sodden trap this morning, picking through the soggy egg boxes. FFYs included a pretty Barred Yellow, Large Fruit Tree Tortix and my first Grey Arches for years.
I at first thought I had found my first Light Arches of the year, but it looked a bit odd. When I checked the book I realised the size, shape and pattern were perfect for Reddish Light Arches. I'm assuming winds pushed it across the Burry Inlet from the Gower.
Your reddish light arches looks good to me Adam. Check the hindwings of your specimen, as previously advised, to further confirm when you get a chance.
