Two welcome visitors

No-one has complained - indeed cursed - more than me about the lack of unusual migrant moths in recent weeks, particularly as not far from Carmarthenshire others have been fortunate to get some very high quality visitors to their traps.

Last night (21/9) at least I had a slightly more interesting species, a notch or two above the more normal silver ys. I first noticed one just inside the transparent plastic cover of the trap and, near to the end of my egg-box check at the bottom of the trap, there was another, second, individual. They were vestals.
