Laura Moss emailed me to say she had caught this amazing Bedstraw Hawkmoth at Penrhiwcarnau, NNW of Llandovery on 14th August: "Following a very poor haul of 8 species on Thursday I thought I would try again on Friday and I was so pleased. I had 34 species with 3 NFG including bedstraw hawkmoth. I was so pleased and to see it nectaring afterwards was an extra treat." This stunning VC44 County First shows how important it is to keep trying on these warm summer nights. Her video of the Hawkmoth nectaring is amazing, but I've got to work out how to upload it to Blogger.
Just...wow!
