Another wet trap in Burry Port

Despite thunder and lightning, the trap attracted 133 moths of 45 species to my suburban garden in Burry Port. A welcome FFY was one of my favourite moths: Buff Arches.
There was also an attractive micro-life!
Agapeta Zoegana - a special looking tortrix.
Finally there were two tiny tortrixes. Despite some physical differences, I speculated that they could be the same species and was wondering about Grapholita janthinana. Any suggestions?

  1. They look good for janthinana to me Adam. It seems to be having a good year - I've had two in my Cardiff garden, despite none in the previous 12 years here.
