Tiny Elephant in Burry Port.

A Privet Hawkmoth rested on the shed near the trap, inside which, I caught a glimpse of pink and green. My first Small Elephant Hawkmoth, a little beauty!

There was also an early and very worn Sandy Carpet in the trap.
In all, 29 species, excluding two different, tiny, brown micros, on which I have given up.

  1. Keep up the recording Adam! Nice to see that you had small elephant hawk-moth - perhaps not surprising though, as it`s frequent at Pembrey.

  2. The Small Elephant was most welcome. I will be trapping again tonight.
