The Jungle this morning.

As predicted last night, I packed up shortly after 01:00 this morning, but all moths are recorded as 23 April, of course. 157 moths of 32 species were recorded and there's precious little evidence of a distinct bias towards wetland/marshland species. Perhaps the only indicators seen were Water Carpet and more particularly, Devon Carpet. The latter species was one of 11 FFYs at the trap, although there could be more to come as I've so far only identified seven of the thirteen Pugs that were found in the trap this morning.

Here's a list of FFYs: Dark-barred Twin-spot Carpet, Devon Carpet, Red-green Carpet, Small Phoenix, V-Pug, Brindled Pug, Grey Birch, Clouded Silver, Iron Prominent, Coxcomb Prominent and Flame Shoulder.
