Like Ian, I defied the clear skies and shone a combination of MV and Actinic traps, taking advantage of the relatively mild conditions. About 40 moths turned up (no accurate count yet). The only surprise was this Belle:
Lead Belle or July Belle? I haven't found a second generation recorded for either species. It may be that LB is the more likely one to produce a second generation since it flies earlier in the year than JB.
A couple more Brown-spot Pinions were recorded, too. The species seems to be on the increase.
