The forecast for last night (9/10) was for clear skies and rather chilly. However, the winds were in a SE direction, so out went my garden traps. It certainly was cloudless last night with all the constellations of stars visible across the night sky and when I checked the traps at c 10.00 pm there was little present.
Numbers were indeed quite depleted upon inspection this morning but included in the catch was this delicate:
Delicate is a nice record, Ian, trapping last night was well worth the effort. I may put the same traps out tonight, although it's not supposed to remain dry. Trapping is less of a chore now that it doesn't entail loss of sleep!
