NMN Friday 15th June 2018
High winds and heavy rain at Cwmllwyd made me determine to put the MV trap in the lee of the barn, on a concrete yard, rather than in the wilds of the garden. The night was not a great success. A frugal return of 63 moths of 21 species showed up, and there were just three FFY: Garden Tiger, Purple Clay and Brussels Lace, all illustrated below. I will try again tonight as it's supposed to be dry.

Nice Garden Tiger, Steve, always good to see it. I look forward to my first one soon, it's several weeks since the larvae munching at the foxgloves in my polytunnel disappeared from sight!
ReplyDeleteKeep working in that garden, tiger!
