Mottled Umbers Galore
I wonder if any of my fellow moth-ers follows 'Recording Moths' on Facebook? Yesterday a trapper in the Lune Valley, Lancashire reported a catch of 452 moths of which 335 were Mottled Umbers, this was on Wednesday night I believe. There are two photographs showing the abundance of moths in and around the trap. Staggering!
