...and even less the night after.

As the garden traps were already out and set up, I trapped for the last time on Sunday evening (30/10) in the present series of three consecutive nights. At c 10.30, the skies looked rather clear and it felt cold, so I did n`t expect to see much this morning - and I was correct in my presumption.
A pine carpet was the only moth that had n`t been caught on the preceding nights and large wainscot numbers reached six (five the more robust females and one smaller male) and that`s about it, except for a sprinkling of some common species.
The forecast for the rest of the week is for colder northerly winds, so the traps are now tucked away in the shed.
