Salem
I managed to trap in Carmarthenshire for the first time since October on Saturday night. Not a bad haul either with 45 moths of 15 species. Nothing particularly rare but a few nice moths nonetheless:
Streamer 1
Shoulder stripe 5
Early moth 1
Early thorn 3
Dotted border 1
Oak beauty 10
Brindled beauty 1
Early grey 1
Red chestnut 2
Hebrew character 7
Twin spotted quaker 2
Common quaker 3
Small quaker 4
Clouded drab 2 Agonopterix heracliana 1
love the photo. Such beautiful moths.
ReplyDeleteThanks both - they are lovely aren't they - couldn't quite get it to settle on a more attractive background though...
ReplyDeleteIt`s a nicely composed photo (appropriate background etc) - whether by accident or design and well done too for trapping.
