I am trying to get to Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park for a lunchtime Micro hunt a couple of times a month, as it has good potential and is just 10 minutes from the office. There were loads of Six-spot Burnets and a few Burnet Companion and Latticed Heath on the wing today, plus 4 Cinnabar. Best of the Micros were 3 Cydia nigricana (10th Carms record) swept from large patches of Meadow Vetchling, 2 Coleophora deauratella (photo) and 1 C. mayrella swept from mixed Clovers and 1 of the spectacular plume Platyptilia gonodactyla netted near Coltsfoot. Most of these are new for the site, but there's a lot more to find.
I`m sure that you will find good stuff Sam - be aware of the variety of habitats and try to visit all, if feasible.
