Two traps produced a respectable 236 moths of 57 species, 22
of which were micros. Nothing remarkable with the most interesting records being
Ypsolopha
sequella 2,
Diamond-back Moth 1,
Aproaerema
anthyllidella 1,
Mompha locupletella 2,
Acleris
emargana 2,
Calamotropha paludella 1,
Eudonia pallida 2, Rusty-dot Pearl 1,
Platyptilia isodactylus 5 (probably the best species of the catch), Riband
Wave 1 (odd specimen with very hooked wing-tip!), Dusky Thorn 4, Broad-bordered
Yellow Underwing 1, Square-spot Rustic 35 (the commonest species), Green-brindled
Crescent 1, Frosted Orange 3
& Pinion-streaked
Snout 5. Plus a couple of mini-micros I can't name and probably wont have time to, what looks like a
Cosmiotes and an all dark Gelechiid!
