In the past, I hardly bothered with micros, except for the pyralids which had Goater`s excellent little book. I would do the odd, easy-to-identify one and Barry Stewart and Jon Baker would kindly identify others. Now, with the new Sterling & Parsons book and much-appreciated help on the blog from Barry, Sam and George, several of us are `having a stab` at micros. Sam`s postings on micros also help a lot, especially the ones with i/d hints.
There`s a bit of a `micro catch-up` below, and I`ve had a go at identifying some though, as usual, several i/ds may well be incorrect. I`d welcome corrections/comments or help from Barry, Sam or George please. The photos are numbered for ease of reference - click on them to enlarge.
