Llansteffan Moths
I trapped on Fri 11/07 and had 36 species, first of year Yellow-tail, Fan-foot, Common Rustic, Dingy Footman and this moth which could be a Coleophora, help needed as usual many thanks.
The dark antennae suggest C fuscicornis, which is impossible. I assume therefore that the antennae are damaged, in which case it's likely to be unidentifiable. Do you have any pics with the whole antenna visible?
Thanks Mel, I'm afraid it's going to have to remain unidentified as the tips of the antennae appear to have broken off and they provide the diagnostic character.
