Dept of Lousy Photos...the latest
Can anyone help regarding the i/d please of the tortricid below? Netted yesterday at North Dock dunes, Llanelli. Dune grassland/upper saltmarsh habitat. Click on pic to enlarge. Thanks.
I'll stick my kneck out, again, Ian: Eucosma obumbratana.
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve, we`ll await the comments of Sam, George or Barry.
ReplyDeleteI'd have said Eucosma sp!
ReplyDeleteI dissected one last year that looked good for obumbratana but it turned out to be hohenwartiana.
Not sure, but doesn't look like obumbratana.
ReplyDeleteThanks all for trying!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing you've still got the specimen Ian. Not one I'd ID from a photo I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteI believe that I still have it Sam, will check tomorrow (Sunday).
