Micros coming to clearwing lures
With the return of some sunny weather I've dusted down my clearwing lures and had a go at home (Abernaint, Ffarmers) and RSPB Dinas. The result? No clearwings but I have caught single Nemapogon koenigi(s) at both sites coming to Red-belted Clearwing (Carms summary shows one previous record) and a pot full (17) of Tiaxomera fulvimitrella at Dinas coming to Yellow-legged Creawing. I believe I trapped the first county record of T fulimitrella last year, again coming to yellow-legged clearwing .
