August moth miscellany

 A trap of fewer than 100 individuals nonetheless contained some 40 species, including some firsts for the year and some rarer visitors. An unidentifiable parornix posed nicely.

The first Dog's Tooth of the year was accompanied by my first Dark Sword Grass for a few months.

Dusky Thorn is regular in low numbers

And Vine's Rustic seems to be on its second generation.
