Silver Ys make it to Ffarmers
Two nights ago I put out a couple of traps on the hill (approx 1200 feet high) behind my house. A nice mix of moths the following morning included some impressive figures for two migrants including 207 Silver Ys and 18 Dark Sword-grasses. These were all caught in the MV and neither species was noted in the actinic just 80 metres away. Another 131 Silver Ys were in my home MV about a mile from the hill traps.
Thank you Ian and Colin for helping me get on to the blog.
