Modest returns from two actinic traps last night, 32 moths of 16 species were recorded including firsts for Red-green Carpet, Black Rustic, Sallow, Frosted Orange, and this Brown-spot Pinion:
Micros included a single Rush Veneer, a Bramble Shoot Moth and this Acleris species:
In spite of the pointed forewings I think that this moth is most likely to be Acleris comariana. There are numerous strawberry plants both wild and cultivated in the garden. However, it will probably have to be recorded as A.laterana/comariana.
