Clay or…..?
Could this possibly be a worn White-point? It’s certainly much smaller than the Clays I’ve been catching.
Well done if this moth gets accepted as a White-point, Jane, it's not on the spreadsheet I use or on the Carms 2016 list so it might be a new County record. I see you've got support for W-p from a F/B Group!
Yes, looks like white-point to me too - look at the transverse barring forward of the spot (best seen in 2nd pic). White-points have been seen elsewhere too, so that fits in. A 2nd vcr - Arfon had one last year. Well done Jane.
