Having been put off by the forecast torrential rain for the previous night (which did n`t come), I instead put out the garden trap on the next night (4/6) - and the rain was torrential come trap-checking time! A fairly decent mix of moths were present, but the only migrant was a single silver y. A small clouded brindle (photo below) with a supporting cast of a small elephant hawk-moth and the pine-associated micro Rhyacionia pinivorana comprised the `moths of interest`.
