As part of the ongoing ecological surveys on the Cernydd Carmel SAC at Llyn Llech Owain Country Park, Barry Stewart and Chris Manley set a total of three traps on the night of 17th June.
The resulting catch of 120 species was pretty impressive with the best Heath species being Bilberry Pug complimented by Double Line, Bordered Sallow, with migrants represented by Bordered Straw, Scarce Bordered Straw and Vestal.
I will write a more detailed blog after the next session due in July.
