A few years ago I had an excellent view of Silver-washed Fitillaries in Pen y Bedd wood. Naturally I didn't have my camera at the time and vowed to go back one day to photograph some.

You`re lucky to get close to a silver-washed frit on a hot day. Obviously they were concentrating on something else.
ReplyDeleteIt was later in the afternoon and in shaded and dappled areas, where I got bitten by mosquitoes! And it does seem they had other fish to fry...
