Some recent news snippets from elsewhere in Carmarthenshire....
....Arfon Williams recently caught a clouded buff in his Teifi Valley garden trap, suggesting that the uplands south of the Teifi might be worth checking for this species which is also a day-flyer. The same moth was trapped in the last week by Stephen Ruttle at Graig, Halfway (nr Llandovery) when it was accompanied by two light knot-grass, a barred hook-tip and, best of all, a 2nd vc record of little thorn.
I had two Clouded Buff last night, they seem to be a regular visitor to the garden.
