I don't recall seeing one of these before, so would welcome any comments. The moth was on the outside of our kitchen window at Ffairfach.

It does look a good candidate, but these are tricky from photos. It's usually a bit bigger than winter moth and the size difference stands out if you saee a lot of the latter species, but it's best to try to expose the hindwing to check the colour to be really sure.
