I`d thought that I`d have a bit of `urban botanising` this afternoon, visiting urban lanes in Llanelli that were previously checked during the spring lockdown (locally we`re in another lockdown). I wanted to do this before the autumn frosts killed off any garden escapes and, indeed, several plants of interest were seen.
Also noted were a small group of London planes Platanus x hispanica, around a parking area of a large house that had been subdivided into flats at the corner of Mansel Street, Llanelli. To my surprise, several leaves had the large leaf mines of Phyllonorycter plantani.
