Saturday night's catch was looking decidedly uninteresting, a sea of H.C.s, Common Qs and Clouded Drabs. Under the last egg box however was what I assumed to be a Red-green Carpet, but on closer inspection it seemed just a little different. It was duly photographed and sent to Ian, and thence to Steve, both of them agreeing that it was an Autumn Green Carpet, one of the moths I've wanted to see since I started trapping. Thanks Ian and Steve.
