Tawny pinion v dark-marked pale pinion

Jane Hand sent me this photo (above) of a tawny pinion that she caught this week at Rhandirmwyn. Compare it with the dark-marked pale pinion (below) that I also caught very recently. Tawny pinion has a much straighter costa (front edge of forewing), darker abdominal and thoracic crests and, `in 

the flesh`, tawny pinion has a strong blue-green iridescence on the dark areas when the moth is tilted to the light.
