Maenol Last Night
This seemingly well-travelled Dark Sword-grass was one of about 150 moths of 15 species attracted to my MV and actinic traps last night. Other FFYs were Shoulder Stripe and Engrailed. Numerous Hebrew Characters, Clouded Drabs, Common Quakers and Early Greys. No micros. Again, several Oak Beauties but only a single Brindled Beauty. In previous years the latter species has tended to be more abundant than the former one.
