Maple pug?

Stephen Ruttle has just sent me this photo of a pug, caught recently at the amazing moth-magnet farm at Graig, Llandovery in NE Carms.
He suggested that it may be a maple pug and it seems to be that to me too, but we want confirmation (or correction) from more knowledgeable moth`ers. The size is correct. Field maple - the larval food-plant - is known from the general area.
If it is indeed a maple pug, it`ll be a new county record.

  1. Postscript: it has subsequently been confirmed as a maple pug by Sam (and a NCR for Carms). Stephen tells me that it is known from adjacent Brecs.
