Another hairstreak

Whilst deeply envious of the White-letter Hairstreaks posters have had in their gardens (!) I was very pleased to find and photograph (at a distance) Purple Hairstreak on the Pinged road adjacent to Ffrwd Fen reserve.

    A nice find - I suggested that you go there to search for w-l hairstreak as there`s lots of elm in the hedges, but what do you find? - a purple hairstreak! Nice photos again, Adam, especially the second showing the purple wing.
