Some new moths in a Burry Port garden

121 moths of 32 species were attracted to my actinic trap last night, close to a garden record, I believe. Apart from some moths that were garden firsts for the year, like these Small Angle Shades and the Dot moth, there were also a few life ticks in the trap.

I had never seen Pale Tussock before:

This was only my second Broken-barred Carpet
A couple of micros were new to me, including this Crescent Plume, photographed during its daring escape.
I believe this pale Crambid is Crambus pascuella
And finally the Elephant Hawkmoths turned into a mini stampede
