The Outdoor Recreation Service team in conjunction with the county Biodiversity Officer and several experts held a Bioblitz event at the Pembrey Country Park, including the setting of four moth traps.
The traps were bursting with around 60 species recorded, when I have the definitive list I will provide an update of species recorded.
The great news though was that in a mains powered Robinson, set by Matt Ridley in the confines of the maintenance depot at Pembrey, THREE Reddish Light Arches were recorded, perhaps indicating a successful colonisation of the Pembrey Burrows LNR and surrounds?
I have not had the time to trap on the LNR myself but hopefully I will get out there soon.
