Two new moths in Burry Port

A largish trap on 29th May produced only one new moth, a Common Lutestring that confused me with its "wings spread" pose!
I also scooped up a small moth that flew into the conservatory. Turning it upside down, I realised it had a yellow underwing - Small Yellow Underwing.

  1. Well done Adam. In my opinion common lutestring has become more frequent in the Llanelli/Burry Port area over the last few years.

  2. I caught another on Friday night! So you're probably right Ian.
