more spring moths
On the night of the 18th February, Dotted Border (x10) replaced Pale Brindled Beauty as the most numerous moth at the Cnwc porch light. Spring Usher (x2) and Red Chestnut (x1) were new for the year (for me).
The combination of porch light and small actinic trap attracted 3 Early Moths and a single Dotted Border at Maenol last night. Your porch light must be something special, Sam. What's the secret? I suppose that being surrounded by forest might help!
