Jane - the consensus is that it`s a pale mottled willow, as suggested previously. I sought and received the opinion of both Sam and George.

ReplyDeleteMoth are related to butterflies, belonging to Lepidoptera. Most Lepidoptera are moths. Most spices of moth are nocturnal, but there are also crepuscular and diurnal species.
