For your amusement.....

Just taken possession of a new car and the letters are . . . . .WMA. One of my friends, who stoicly suffers my moth conversations and shows great interest in my catches, said 'Typical - Welsh Moth Association!' so trying to think of a Moth-y name, its red - so Ruby I guess!!

    Very nice Jane, but you don't tell us what make/model it is. If it had been a Vauxhall Tigra, for example (sadly they stopped making them years ago) the appropriate mothy Ruby name might have occurred to you immediately.

    Good choice, Jane! My wife bought an Aygo earlier this year, black with red trim, so I'm calling it Cinnabar. I have a red VW Beetle which is going to be called Lily, after the red Lily Beetle (Lilioceris lilii). You may have started something!
