Pembrey. Thursday 18th May

A morning searching for signs of Caryocolum blandulella with Ian Morgan and Steve Palmer. This tiny, 1 mm long, nymph-like creature was the only life in one spun Little Mouse-ear seedhead just in case anyone knows about these things. Also these three other common moths.
19.002 Glyphipterix thrasonella

38.004 Elachista argentella
70.294 Yellow Belle

Mystery ex seedhead of Little Mouse-ear. Just 1 mm long

  1. Pristine photos as usual Chris. Your last photo looks like an aphid of some sort?
