More from the `Pwll carpet warehouse`...

I again put out a couple of traps in the garden last night, as the forecast was cloudy and virtually rain-free. At this time of year, I was not expecting great numbers or variety and indeed it was the case, with nine species of moth recorded. They were: red-line quaker 3, merveille du jour 1, common marbled carpet 7, square-spot rustic 1, rush veneer 1 (a darker, different individual to the previous night), sallow 1, November moth agg. 3, grey pine carpet 1 and a nice red-green carpet (pictured below).
